Pre-orders for fresh Western morels are now being accepted. Fresh western morels begin shipping in early March. These are not Midwest morels. Many customers pre-order in case of a poor season. Pre-orders are guaranteed to be filled.
We will combine shipping on products ordered that can be shipped together. When working with perishable products and Mother Nature we never know when/if we can ship items together. An email will be sent if we can ship your items together and refund you the difference or you may choose to have extra product sent.
* Fed-Ex Standard Overnight shipping & handling is included in each order for deliveries anywhere within the continental U.S.
The prices on this page already include shipping & handling. The overall price per pound starts to fall when more pounds are ordered!

Please Note:
Fresh morels are highly perishable. If you have placed an order please keep an eye out for your package. Packages should not be left outside when temperatures exceed 70 degrees. If no one is home your package will be dropped at the front door or wherever the Fed-Ex driver usually leaves packages. During late spring early summer when the temperatures heat up ice-packs will be used.
Fed-Ex cannot deliver to a P.O. Box. Your work place is a great place to have your order shipped to if you have a P.O. Box or feel your package will be unsafe dropped at home.
We have no control over the amount of morels that are picked and shipped in a days time. We get them out as they come in. It would be nearly impossible for us to keep in touch with everyone on shipment date. If a certain date works better for you, or if a certain dates won’t work for you, just make a note on the order form and we will accommodate. Expect your order to be delivered on Tuesday -Friday. As a courtesy, Fed-Ex notifies customers by email of the shipment when we print out your shipping label. This is a minimum of 12 hours prior to shipment. Please do not rely on this email as we get many undeliverable email addresses due to the fact that they are unreadable or incorrect. It is important to leave a phone number for Fed Ex or Morelmasters to get a hold of you. New situations come up very fast during the short season. Sometimes we get in more morels than expected and need to call customers to verify that they can accept delivery the next day. Your phone number is entered into Fed-Ex's system as they sometimes cannot find addresses and need to call customers. Since we are dealing with a highly perishable product a phone/cell number is important.
The morels go out as they have been paid for. If you pay early in the year, expect to be one of the first shipments and so on. If you have pre-payed and there is some kind of disaster on our end your payment will be returned in full.
In rare cases of severe weather, Fed Ex’s planes run behind schedule. Fed-Ex nor Morelmasters stand behind perishables which spoil due to inclement weather. Please advise if your order is not acceptable and we will look into the matter.
Morels may lose up to a tenth of a pound per pound due to shrinkage during shipment. This weight will be regained when cleaned with water. Your morels may be slightly dry to touch which is normal.
Western morels range from one to four inches tall and are generally dark in color. These morels are picked in the Pacific Northwest and have great flavor. Season runs from March-July.
Morels do come from the woods so don’t be alarmed if you find some critters munching on the inside of a morel. These guys also know what’s good! Clean, cook, and enjoy.
